Ep #8: Cam Campling
Cam Campling, or as he is otherwise known to us, Quadsy, is an Australian track cyclist and Masters Games sprint champion. In 2017 he was one third of the world record breaking Sprint Team for which the record still stands, smashing the previous record. Cam is also a father to three kids, one of whom was diagnosed with terminal cancer at just 18 months old.
This episode is in two parts, the first of which we explore Cams journey on the bike, how he came to be a masters champion and just how important cycling has been as an outlet throughout his life. We then dive into the extremely difficult situation of having a son diagnosed with terminal cancer at such a young age, and just how he and his family navigated this unimaginable situation.
