It's that time again legends! Announcing our coveted Business of the Month for December 2021... Bertazzo. Recently we caught up with the team at Bertazzo and had a chat with the crew about how adopting TradeMutt workshirts as their uniform has impacted their employees and clients.
Location: Victoria, Australia
The TradeMutt shirts have really been a fantastic addition to our whole staff feel and culture. My son received one a couple of Christmases ago and then after ‘Starting a conversation’ with John Campbell about what was the go was with these shirts, I checked your team out and knew I wanted our company to be a part of this movement.
A couple for myself of course and a set for our supervisors was the break into the workshop, from there we rolled them out through to all our staff both workshop and office, matching the design to the character was the challenge.
We deemed every Friday to be ‘TradeMutt Friday’ so for the past eighteen months that’s what we do. An addition of a hundred BBQ'ed ‘Formichi Pork & Fennel sausages’ on the odd occasion has now become an institution. They stand around enjoying good food and have a conversation.
We put up all the posters and information regarding what the TradeMutt movement is about. TIACS. Mental health affects all of us and Ed and Dan have opened the door for tradies to get help if they need it.
We also have a stop smoking program to help the guys kick that habit and the ANZ Bank have been to give some simple explanations on things like Super, Savings & Credit history and just go and talk to them if you need help with money things.
Everyone we encounter loves the conversation about the shirts, even the Police manning the border blockades for all that time were checking out your website after talking to me about your gear on the way through. When Shaun has his 4XL Pink Tiger stripes on, that’s a lot of pink and when someone looks at him in the servo strangely, he just blows them a kiss.
We love what TradeMutt is doing for both your supply chain and for what it now means for all of our team. I could not more highly recommend to other companies to get on board.
